Waterweg Consultants BV is happy to take on full responsibility for the work to be carried out but equelly is able to work in close cooperation with each Client's team. Either on lump-sum basis or over an extended period of time, WaterWeg Consultants BV is prepared to take on some of the financial risk during the bidding period. The company was founded in early 1997 as an independent consultancy firm which specializes in the handling, storage and terminalling of liquid products. Piet Hein van Haaren who founded the company spent his career in and around the Port of Rotterdam. He graduated at the University of Delft as a Transport Technologist. His first part of employement was as a consultant to on of the major Rotterdam stevedoring companies, followed by an managerial position in the same company. Employed by one of the major international tankterminal operators, he was responsible for planning and constuction of the nem tankfarms in- and outside Europe since early 1990's. After succesfully completing a number of sizeable investments, he concentrated fully on the development of liquid handling projects in the Middle East. Additional project awards allow for a continuation of services and since WaterWeg Consultants BV was established, for a much broader spectrum of clients.
